Accessibility Statement


Introduction

Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022 transposed Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.


Accessibility guidelines for services have been issued in implementation of Art. 21 of Legislative Decree No. 82/2022.

The decree was published in the Official Gazette (General Series No. 152 of 01-07-2022) and entered into force on July 16, 2022, but its provisions will take effect from June 28, 2025.

Maikii Srl Società Benefit is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with Law No. 82 of May 27, 2022, which transposed Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 17, 2019, on the accessibility requirements for products and services. This accessibility statement applies to the websites https://www.maikii.com/.


Compatibility Status


The website https://www.maikii.com/ is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of UNI EN 301549:2018 (WCAG 2.1), due to the non-compliance cases and/or exceptions listed below. Maikii Srl Società Benefit is conducting, along with its providers, an analysis to carry out the necessary interventions to make the sites accessible and compliant.


Inaccessible Content


The following content is not accessible as it is not compatible with the harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • One page contains a list item that is not part of a list.
  • On several pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
  • On all pages, a parent element is missing corresponding child elements. This may confuse screen reader users, as expected content is missing.
  • On one page, subordinate elements are missing their corresponding parent element. This may cause screen readers to fail to render the subordinate elements correctly.
  • On one page, there are scrollable elements that are not accessible via keyboard, limiting the experience for users with assistive technologies.


The past and future evolutions of the code have been and will be developed in accordance with WCAG 2.2 guidelines. The statement was drafted on July 1, 2025. It was performed through a self-assessment compliant with Directive (EU) 2019/882, carried out directly by the provider. The declaration was created with the assistance of Eye-Able® technology from Web Inclusion GmbH. More information is available at https://eye-able.com/.

Maikii Srl Società Benefit is conducting an analysis with its suppliers to implement the necessary changes to make the referenced websites accessible and compliant with regulations. With the goal of progressively improving the experience of its web customers, Maikii Srl Società Benefit has also proactively implemented the SaaS software Eye-Able® by Web Inclusion GmbH. This functionality enables audits to scan individual pages of the site in order to identify digital barriers, providing compatible support that explains the error and proposes alternative code to correct it, along with other tools that allow website users to access key functions that enhance navigation. The company is committed to developing both past and future code updates in accordance with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
